Topper Migration Under Repeated Motion
- Product revision
- CS-MATTRESS-2026-08-A
Construction note — not a test result, and not an EN, ASTM, CPSC or medical certification.
What are we testing?
Could repeated adult movement move the topper enough to expose an underlying join or an open gap between mattresses?
Why this test matters
- This is a critical question for pushed-together mattresses, where a shifted topper can expose an open gap between two separate mattresses.
- In our system the answer sits in the construction itself, which is why we document it here rather than as a test.
Method basis
Answered at construction level rather than by a movement test. The load-based behaviour of the complete assembled system is covered by the Sleeping-Surface Gap Formation Test (CS-TST-006).
Why this cannot expose a gap here
